To wish or not to wish?

Do i wish a relationship?
I'm not able to handle a relationship that lies on fear.
You say Love and i hear Affection
Love supposes you'd see me as i am
Accept it and handle it
Love supposes you'd accept your own attraction
Toward something you're still afraid of
Love supposes you'd not feel guilty nor mean
You're still not ready to Love me
You still don't know how, even if you'd want to may be
But it needs time, strength and trust
Sometimes it will be funny
Sometimes it will be painful
Sometimes it will be exhausting
Sometimes it will be beautiful
Sometimes you'll need a protective presence
Sometimes you'll need a comfortable relation
But when you'll be on your way
To recover your own capacities
On your way to feel our "us" as two distinct souls
I'll be there when, and if, you'll want to learn
And i'll be there if you want to learn how to Love me
In a peaceful and reassuring way,
Made of freedom in closeness,
Privacy in intimacy.
Then, when you'll reach the other side of the river
You'll find my hand and we'll see...
For now, i take your Affection and keep it preciously.
